IBIC at the ACHEMA 2012 Trade Fair in Frankfurt

Opportunities await at the world’s largest trade fair for the process industry

IBIC GmbH will present its portfolio of engineering services for plant manufacturers and operators in cooperation with IBI Chematur, an engineering consultancy based in Mumbai, India, at ACHEMA 2012 from 18-22 June 2012 in Frankfurt, Germany. Due to the stable to positive forecasts for the plant construction and chemical industries, the fair’s organizers expect an even stronger turnout than at the last event in 2009. 50 percent of the exhibitors at the world’s largest trade fair for chemical engineering, biotechnology and environmental protection are international with a growing share coming from India.

Current trends in plant construction

Technology developers, suppliers and users from all over the world meet up every three years at the ACHEMA trade show to learn more about the latest trends and developments in the process industry. IBIC will present its engineering services together with its partner IBI Chematur, an Indian joint venture company of the Swedish-based Chematur Group, which will be showcasing various plant construction technologies in Hall 9.2, Booth E11. IBIC’s partner Intergraph is also participating at the neighboring booth D28 in the same hall.

Energy and resources are two core themes at ACHEMA 2012. New energy storage technologies as well as energy-efficient plant operations are hot topics in the energy-intensive chemical industry. The growing use of renewable resources coupled with the application of biotechnological processes is also creating new requirements with regards to equipment and technology. At the 30th ACHEMA trade fair this June, visitors can learn more about these and other trends as well as the different global vendors in these fields. All exhibitors in the domain of plant construction are located in Halls 9.1 and 9.2.
