IBIC to showcase offerings at Intergraph user conference
Experts exchange experiences in process engineering and plant design, construction and operations
IBIC GmbH, an international provider of engineering services for plant manufacturers and operators, will showcase its offerings at the cegug 2010, an Intergraph user conference held on November 17-18, 2010 at the Rosengarten Congress Center in Mannheim, Germany. A large percentage of the 300 attendees expected at this year’s event require the type of engineering services that IBIC offers. IBIC’s experts, who already presented their capabilities to 250 attendees in 2009, are looking forward to many lively discussions at this highly regarded annual forum.
The conference includes case studies as well as presentations on new features and developments for Intergraph’s Process, Power & Marine (PP&M) division. Attendees can choose from over 40 sessions in which fellow users provide insight on their daily work in the fields of plant construction, steel construction and architecture, functional planning, electrical and instrumentation, or piping technologies. Participants can also take advantage of the accompanying exhibit where IBIC and other prominent service providers will present their products and offerings. The goal of the conference is to give Intergraph users suggestions and support in their day-to-day business.
Open discussions with customers and prospects
This event boasts a 23-year tradition among Intergraph customers and prospects who are involved in planning, constructing or operating plants, ships and offshore platforms. “cegug 2010 provides an excellent forum for networking with both current and potential customers,” explains Hans-Peter Beier, founder and managing director at IBIC. “The short conversations that we make here generally lead to follow-up appointments for discussing the details of potential projects in the future.”cegug, the organizer of the event, is dedicated to fostering a knowledge exchange among Intergraph customers. “Our group of users from Germany, Austria and Switzerland has very close contacts to Intergraph and its partners,” adds Bruno Schwarz, President of cegug. “Together, we identify user requirements and look for solutions. This annual conference is the focal point of our efforts.”
